Say La Vee NOLA Vintage Glass & Pearl Bracelet
Say la vee, dahling, c’est la vie. Directly inspired by a sign to that effect on the streets of New Orleans on my trip there in February 2023.
I found a few incredible strands of solid red and floral African glass beads during my visit at the historic house of Marie Laveau (herbalist, midwife, renowned Voodoo practitioner and spiritual healer) — both of which are incorporated here in this piece bearing homage to the wonderfully vibrant, mysterious, uplifting, enchanting, jazzy, and incandescent energy of New Orleans and its people and culture.
Also features large rare AAA bright white natural oval baroque freshwater pearls and a lamp-worked red glass chili pepper bead 🌶️ for a little added flair.
